Monday Update - Secrets and Veil · 4:35pm Aug 28th, 2017
Good Monday everyone!
I'm pleased to say that it was an extremely productive weekend of writing for Crystal and me. We were both quite inspired and that resulted in a ton of words find their way to the page.
If things keep moving in the direction they're heading I am thrilled to say we will be launching Beyond the Veil next Monday. Do note, it will be on Crystal's account! If you want to read it you'll need to look there. I highly recommend checking it out as it is without a doubt the best thing we've written to date.
The story will be told in four arcs. We're not releasing an arc until the entire thing is complete. That helps us avoid "serial syndrome."
On that note, I also made a lot of progress with the Secrets of a Royal Guard rework. I was a bit miffed at some of my writing early on in the series and have invested a lot of time in punching it up. As I've moved further things smoothed out. By Monday I'll be through about 20% of it which should keep me on time for the book launch in November.

So why, pray tell, is it on your wife's page?
Huh, I just realized that I've been assuming this whole time that Veil would be on your page, simply because Crystal has multiple incomplete stories and you currently have none.
Do you have plans for a new "Blade" story at some point then, like a sequel to Sunny's Days?
That is why I wanted to make sure folks knew in advance to look there. The original concept and characters were Crystal's idea. She's also done a lot of the heavy lifting for framing the text. My contribution is, in my eyes, lesser even if this is a full collaboration. I only thought it fitting that it be on her page instead of mine.

I can hardly wait! I've missed getting story updates from you guys. With all the hype I'm super excited for the new story.
Side note, Anzel, but every time I look at this particular avatar of yours, it just looks like Silent has a goofy purple hat and an impressively bushy black beard.
Gotta love that serial syndrome. You had it bad during ToaRG, but you've taken your medicine, you've visited your psychiatrist, and now you have gotten over it. Still probably going to be cliffhangers, but since Anzel is writing it, that is to be expected.
