I had my doubts but that was a very cute an enjoyable slice of life episode! First off some key points
- Flyders…basically spiders with wings o.O
- Ancient Earth Ponies are Vikings…I can see that
- Ancient Unicorns are Asian (Chinese I think?) Was not expecting that but sure! Also dang, them curved horns o.O
- Ancient Pegasi are Roman/Greek. We kinda already knew that, this is just further confirmation
- WHAO!!! Is that Torch pre Dragon Lord days being buddies with the dragon from Owls Well that Ends Well!? Hurry fanfic writers! Create backstory, CREATE!!!
So yeah, that was a lot of fun! One point I felt was great is that Scootaloo is still scared of camping etc, she’s just comfortable and trusting enough with the group to share that fact and RB is being a very mature and responsible Big Sis and looking out for Scoots…while still being the arrogant and slightly clueless and brash pegasus we love!
Not much more to say, nothing deep or thought provoking, just a nice well balanced feel good episode!
