Classes started today, one week earlier than I had planned for. So I've been kind of super freaking busy.
My teaching style, minus the humiliation. I like helping students by using profanity.
The next thing up is an update for Twilight's Secret Journal. The reason it's been taking me so long is that this particular chapter has been a pain to transcribe. It isn't incredibly interesting or disturbing, it's just an info dump in Luna's voice, and for some reason it has been an ordeal to make progress. Once I finally finish this chapter, regular updates should pick up again.
After that update, I need to rearrange my project queue, so I'll host my first Patreon poll to see what y'all want me to focus on. (Which, at present, will be whatever Prof Holly Oats wants it to be.) 
My latest chapter of my ongoing story has been a pain too, though in my case it's a moment where I need to show an unlikable character hitting rock bottom in their life. Y'know, light material.
I had an instructor like you once when I was in the Air Force. He could be fairly insulting and almost mean at times. I thought he was hilarious and I never learned so much in a month at the expense of a bit of my dignity. He knew his job well and expected his students to learned it just as well! In the end, I was a better technician and trainer.

At bronycon this year I spent ten minutes in the vendor hall and said goodbye to over 130 dollars. D: I left after that and didn't go back. That's the least I've spent in previous years. So right now I'm like an alcoholic deciding not to walk into a bar. :P
This is very true! But see, once I spend one dollar, I fear the genie will be out of the bottle and I simply will not stop spending money on all the amazing, talented people there are to spend money on. Thus, why I've never spent anything on patreon.
But who knows what the future holds! ^.^ I may yet decide to tempt my willpower. (and most certainly lose)
