So sorry everyone! Been so busy lately especially as it is bach to school time around my work and family. Finally have the time to post this blog!! Hooray!
First, thank you all for just reading my story! Never suspected anything would reach this point, but Even if only 1 person said they liked it, I would be amazed. 
Now I find that 250% of that number found it worth the read! So thanks so much for that!!

Will at any point he get real magic not just his tech?
I'm genuinely surprised it's taken this long to reach that number of likes. This is one of the much better displaced stories. Though I suppose that's over-saturation for you.
But, questions, do you have much knowledge of prestidigitation yourself, or was it just an interesting facet you let your character have?

As for your questions, well it's actually a bit of both! As a youth I was interested in magic tricks and while I do know how a few tricks are done, I sadly am a but too rusty to pull off anything beyond a couple card tricks. But a quick refresher and I'm at least beginning tier!
Plus, and I must admit, I wanted a reason to have him interact with Trixie! But I'm guessing someone might ask questions about her, so I'll leave this answer there for now! ;-)

As for Ethan, I wanted him to have a background that felt reasonable why he could do the things he can. Like sure, he could have been a stuntman and that might of made him ok for the physical needs, but how could he also do sleight of hand? He could be a pickpocket, and that might explain his shady morals, but then why be ready to take punishment for his body if he's always ready to run? He could be an actor, and talk the talk, but how could he have the knowledge to back up his talk? Thus we see he's got the background in prestidigitation for a reason!

Well...yes...but not right away.
If you look very closely I've been slowly easing hints at the possibility. Heck, one of the key parts is the mana transferring that occurred in the Clutter Coulee arc. So he may be in fact developing actual magic abilities.
However, you probably shouldn't expect him to suddenly pull off high level stuff just yet! I prefer Ethan using his wits and tech cleverly to get him out of situations. And I plan on making him work for whatever spells he does. 
So maybe since he has a rule of a master and teacher, he might find himself becoming a student but in secret! Now there's a fun idea!
Couple of questions. Will Ethan eventually start noticing how attractive Tsavorite and Trixie are? Or become aware of their feelings?

Hmmm....Will Ethan notice if these two are attractive? 
Not exactly the first qualities he looks for when looking for a date, so to speak!! Slowly, he will reach a point where he stops seeing everyone he meets as different and start teally realizing that they are people too! That could lead to him possibly forming his bonds with them into something more...romantic. Or at the very least admit they are attractive examples of their kind. 
By that I mean they have the character just start a relationship with a mlp character like it's no big deal not long after they arrived in this new world. And yet there is so much missed opportunity with that idea! I try to show it with Ethan in how there are points where he feels isolated in being the only human around. It's reflected in his actions of maintaining his Mysterio personality and trying to act intimidating to those he meets. At the same time he's not blind to the fact these beings are humanoid. 
However sometimes it seems the moment hensees these inhabitants as people he finds shocking examples of them being animals! 
So there is definitely this distance he has to tread before he starts reaching the point where he feels less qualms about these questions.
Well to be honest it's possible he will. Granted he doesn't quite think of them as ugly now, but as of this moment he's in a land surrounded by aliens with scales or fur.
But to the second question there are a number of issues that will be brought to light because of the fact Ethan figures out their feelings for him. Especially as they could either stem from the fact he might not reciprocate or what might bring more turmoil: if he does!
A great deal of this comes from the fact I found a weakness in some of the Displaced fics is that they have the character have few qualms about 'going Captain Kirk with the native population'!

Thanks for answering the question, mad. I'm happy that Ethan will take a long time to find the anthro girls attractive. I really dislike it when Dipslaced stories have the character adapt extremely quickly to bedding anthro or pony gals without having the self doubts about mating with people with animal characteristics as it doesn't make it realistic in my opinion. Question, does the hyena alpha want to chase Ethan to make him into her mate or does she want to turn him into a gold statue?

Why the way he talks about him is almost like he knows his reputation personally!
After all, only the greatest prey becomes her trophies, and only the best of those get the honor of decorating her body! Ever noticed my description of her jewelry? Well now you know! ;-)
After all her new pack beta is Runo, who considers herself quite the 'matchmaker' with the many uses of the term! The question then becomes if Ethan will see that scenario better or worse if that change of heart took place! 
Now that's going to be fun to see!

To answer it, as of this moment, she's intrigued by a number of things about him. Like his capabilities as a spellcastor,and how he treats other subjects such as those that serve him. More important is the fact that Former members of her pack, Bo and Norah, have decided to follow him willingly. Yet the most intriguing notion about him to her is how he called out her skill level as a hunter by comparing her to her father.
Adding in the factor that he's some sort of creature called a 'hyooman', and you'll find that it's probably less a scenario of wanting to take him to bed, but instead to hunt him and remove his head!!
However, with all that said, maybe there is a chance that this could change?

It's been a long while, hopefully you're still checking this site for things, and hopefully you're still writing.
I am curious as to how Ethan will react to the other villainous beings of equestria when they do show up, such as Sombra, or Chrysalis, or even Tirek?
I would also like to know if you've decided upon making any other stories, which personally I wouldn't mind seeing your take on a variety of other characters from other universes, such as possibly some of the 'main' characters from the MTG (Magic the Gathering) Universe, or perhaps Terminator, or even let's say, (Is quite curious about this one.) not really a character, but more of an item, The Witchblade?
I'm also curious as to what you personally would like to see happen in a variety of stories you might be reading at this point in time?
What would you be planning for in the future, specifically, what goals do you have that you hope to reach?
Would also like to know what games do you enjoy playing?
Where do you see your writing skills going from here?
And one last question at this point in time, Would you be willing to share with us who might be the first of hopefully many villians from the SpiderMan Universe that Ethan will encounter?
