And I must say that this movie is not even remotely bad. Sure the title implies that even the great Bruce Timm is running out of ideas, but in its execution, this is a lot better than many of you might think.

So, a few years have gone by in this alternate DCAU (the Justice League is still around and with good ties to Bruce, and Dick Grayson has ditched the mullet he had before), and Poison Ivy has teamed up with the Floronic Man in an effort to create a virus using the same processes that made the Swamp Thing. And of course, the only other person who knows Ivy like the back of her skull is the one and only Harley Quinn. Hijinks ensue, but you get the idea.

But I must warn you quite dearly; though animated in the "Justice League: Unlimited" style, do not introduce your kids to the DCAU through this. There is more violence than even the uncut version of "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" and is a lot more vulgar than you stuff a pillow. One joke that the limited audience and I laughed tremendously: even Batman's not invulnerable to passed wind.

Now, the biggest issue many others had is Harley being voiced by Melissa Rauch of "Big Bang Theory" fame. Seeing this in the full, I gotta say she's actually a nice change from Tara Strong's take on Harley. Sure, she's no Arleen Sorkin (no one could top her), but Melissa's not even half bad. And every other voice in the movie, Kevin being one of them, fits in perfectly.

I personally hope that they make more movies in this style as Bruce Timm implies should this successful. With the movie industry now allowing for darker comic book movies, especially in the light "Deadpool" and "The Killing Joke," there are quite a few gut wrenchers out there that can be worth the animation.

So, if you get the chance, see if you can at least rent it tomorrow; you won't regret it.
