BronyCon was amazing. Simple.
I've wanted to go for some time, but never before has it been possible. The fact that my (ongoing) road trip put me in the right part of the country at the right time is one of the best things to happen on this trip so far.
I attended some neat panels, and bought a little bit of neat merchandise, but the highlight of my two days there was meeting the people whose stories I've come to love on this site. Meeting all of you in person was an honor, talking with you was fun, and drinking with you was a riot. I'd try to list everyone here, but there are too many of you--if you think I'm thinking of you, you're probably right.
I take away two things from this convention: friendship and inspiration. Friendship needs no explanation. Inspiration comes from having met the real people behind the stories, and them encouraging me. So, my BronyCon resolution is to actually try this fanfiction thing, to see if I can manage to put together words in an interesting way.
Oh, and a desire to return next year. I took that with me too.
It was a delight to see you and I can't wait to see you again next year n_n
