    Leaving for a bit

If you're reading this, I'm off on a long, long field exercise, for a few months, and I won't be able to answer. Don't worry, I'm not dead. I'll be back as soon as I can.

    The Rain Recedes

Well, it's been nearly six months since the last update, but I'm considering shutting down "Tales of the Rainmaker". Someone pointed out a lot of flaws in the story that are too well engrained to fix. Part of me wants to continue, because I want to tell her story, but at the same time, that reviewer was right.

Need a long term editor for "The Secret of Ponyville" · 1:42pm Aug 12th, 2017

No, this thing isn't dead. The entire plot is written out in a neat three arc format, I just need to fill in the details. The problem is I'm struggling to get a lot of the scenes to hit just right, and early on I relied heavily on input from Web of Hope as he looked over my plotline and scenes. He's not interested in staying on as an editor due to personal reasons which I don't blame him for. Bottom line, I need someone to help me streamline this as I hack away at it, or it's going nowhere fast. I already update it almost never.

I'm looking for someone to sign on long term (possibly for a year or two) to help me get this thing to the real meat of the plot. Anyone interested will need to be skilled in plot analysis and scene structure, as well as become intimately acquainted with the characters themselves. Web of Hope is actually responsible for the majority of Rarity's characterization thus far, for those of you who didn't know. I couldn't have gotten this far without him, and now, regrettably, I must replace him. If you're skilled with proofreading as well, that's a plus, but not necessary.

Anyone interested, post on this blog or PM me.
