She stared down at her chest, unable to comprehend what she was seeing.
How?
He was her thrall. She had filled him with so much love, that it eclipsed everything else.
How?
Everything that was him was now hers. His body. His mind, his very heart belonged to her now, such was the power a Goddess of Love had over the feeble emotions of mortals.
How!?
So why, then, was his horn in her chest? Why did her golden blood leak from a wound he should not have been capable of even idly considering?
HOW?!
She staggered back, the ivory horn coming free with a spray of her blood. She looked up at him. He was frozen in place, stuck in the moment after stabbing her. He stared at her in guilty anguish, obviously horrified by what he had done. But his eyes... they held a different story. His face showed anguish, but his eyes... they only showed pity.
"But... you love me."
He nodded. "With all of my heart."
The Goddess of Love could not understand! How then? How had he slipped the chains of her spell if it still so obviously snared him?!
Unbidden, he continued speaking, his eyes taking on a solemn gaze. "But I chose her over everything else... even my own heart."

I don't know. I really don't. Had a really weird dream, and this is all I can remember of it. The stallion is Shining Armor, and the Goddess of Love is not Cadence. First of all, when I called her a Goddess, I was being literal, as in immortality, divinity, holy/unholy power, and all around more than mortal.

The Alicorns are ageless, and maybe powerful, but gods they are not to me.

I'm considering if maybe I can used this in one of my stories, or maybe make a story around it somehow, but more than anything I figured it would be something you guys might find interesting.
