    Universes and Stories

It's been a while since I've done a blog post and having recently finished up two stories and getting questions concerning the connections between them; I thought I'd go ahead and outline the universes of my currently published stories as well as those planned or already in the works. I'll list the stories of each universe in chronological order. Hopefully this will give you all a good idea why I

    Been a while.

Well it's been a bit since I made a blog post. So much has happened. Particularly my recovery from my injuries early last year is still ongoing, though most of what remains is regaining the strength lost while I was immobile. It's amazing how quickly muscles atrophy.

    Recovery

Well as I posted in one of the recent chapters of The Blue Mage, I've recovered enough use in my left hand to type normally. Though with how much the muscles atrophied, I'm still a little clumsy when typing and my hand tires easily. Even so, I've been doing a lot of typing lately on both old projects and new... too many really.

    I'm not dead... mostly.

So I haven't posted anything in a while, and it's been a bit since Blue Mage got an update. Trust me, I have a very good reason...

    The Blue Mage

The Blue Mage, sequel to Child of Misery is up. I've already got several chapters written so I will be posting them fairly steadily at first. Though MS Word doesn't work so well copy and paste... I have to go through the entire chapter fixing the formatting when I go to post it so I'll have to find time for that. If anyone knows a trick to get Word docs to copy over with correct formatting, that

Been a while... · 1:19am Aug 3rd, 2017

So yeah, I'm not dead, and I didn't stop writing. But I did have almost an entire year that I was working overtime almost every day. So yeah, it was a bit rough for a while and I didn't have a whole lot of free time. I still wrote when I could, but then my other problem came into play. I've got almost thirty chapters, probably around 200,000 words or so written... spread through about seven or eight different stories.

Sigh. Yeah, I really need to focus. I'm currently working on cover art for a couple of my stories that once I've finished, I plan on posting them as an incentive for me to focus on those stories. The two I'm going to start with are Blue Mage; the sequel to Child of Misery and Midnight Star: Recovery; the bridge between The Frozen Empire and Father of Light.

Blue Mage follows right after Child of Misery but could be read separately as Blue Mage is its own story. I've already got a good third of the story written, so hopefully I'll be able to keep it going steady for some time.

Midnight Star: Recovery is a little different. Each chapter will be a short story concerning an event that takes place in the eighteen years between The Frozen Empire and Father of Light. I've got a couple finished already and others partially written. These I'll post as I finish them since they're each independent of each other. They cover everything from the birth of new characters, including Midnight Star and Rainbow Dash's first foals, to one of the biggest mistakes and darkest times in Midnight's life since her reformation. There's even one that is all about Sweetie Belle's relationship problems.

Hopefully it won't be too long, and I'll be able to keep them going. Like I said, starting posting stories again is my incentive to get me writing more, so we'll see. I also have several other stories, a sequel to Not Dead Yet, and a few more independent stories as well, but I'm going to try and focus on the ones I post first.
