For those of you that are interested, I have decided to experiment with commissions. My motivation (and thus my productivity) has gone down drastically, and I thought that getting paid in real money for my writing might help with that. Hopefully, if these go well, it will foster my motivation enough for me to work on my other stuff as well.
Here, I will break down the rules and procedures for my commissions.
Disclaimers
As the author, I reserve the right to refuse any commission. Though I will typically explain my reason for refusal, it is not obligatory. For now, I will only accept commissions for mature work, though this may change in the future.
I will not write:
- sequels or continuations of either my work or any other author’s.
- scat, gore porn, or snuff.
- private or commissioner-only content.
- stories including someone else’s OCs or settings without their approval.
- stories including real people
Commissioning a Story
To get started, I will only take a few commissions a month, and they will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. I will include in my bio whether I'm open for commissions.
If you would like to commission a story, just send me a private message on Fimfiction. Please include the following in your message, if applicable.
- Story title
- Chapter title (if different from story title)
- Short and long story synopses
- Setting(s)
- Character(s) involved
- Details of OC(s)
- Specific fetishes that should be catered to
- Specific positions, dialogue, or other details
- Anything you specifically don’t want in the story
Also be sure to include the desired word count, as that will determine the price of the commission. Give a range, with a maximum and minimum, and please make it reasonable. I will give you periodic updates on the progress, and I may provide snippets to ensure it is up to your standards.
Pricing
- Micro-fics (less than 1,000 words) will be placed in a single collection and have a flat rate of $10US.
- Larger fics will be priced at $5US per 500 words, rounded up to the nearest multiple.
- I will not write anything longer than 10,000 words.
Payment and Posting
Payments will be made through PayPal. Half the payment must be made in advance before I begin work on the story, and I must receive the rest before I unveil the finished product. I will give the commissioner the opportunity to make corrections and/or suggestions for improvements, and once I have their approval I will post the story.
If, for any reason, you wish to withdraw your commission before it is finished, I will give a refund based on how much I have written so far. If it is more than halfway done, I will not return the advance. The second payment is final. You may request that the story not be posted, but once it is posted I will not take it down.
If you pay me the advance and I do not finish the story within 30 days, you will receive a full refund regardless of my progress. You can give me an extension if you wish, but it is 100% optional and you may withdraw it at any time.
