Welp. This project fell through.
It's safe to say that I have long since lost my will to write. I haven't done anything significant on here in months. I've had ample opportunity to continue, but the mood just isn't there. My drive is gone.
I know how everything ends. I know what I want to be the endings of my stories. I just can't find a way to get there. My transitions from the first to final acts of stories have always been... bumpy.
I want to finish. I really do.
The motivation to do the grunt work is just gone.
Writing isn't fun anymore.
I've learned many a valuable lesson from writing here, and I am extremely grateful to all of my followers and critics for helping me learn along the way.
I am very deeply sorry that I didn't finish.
I hope to someday return, wrap up what I have started, and possibly bring more to the table. But don't hold your breath. I can't imagine next summer will be much better than this one.
I will log on from time to time, I'm sure. I'll lurk about, visit the forums every now and then, review the comments and parse my writings for new lessons.
I'm marking my stories as 'canceled', but if anyone wishes to put their own spin on things, or write unofficial continuations, send me a pm. I'd love to hear what you all have to say.
