First of all, you'll notice that I have a new avatar. No it's not my ponysana or anything, it's just a character a friend made for me some time ago (and for convenience's sake, I decided to name her after my penname. True story). It was originally put together in the OC pony creator flash on DA, and I'd been using that as my icon on tumblr. But v-invidia decided to make it even more flattering and make her own rendition of her. I think it's beautiful, and a lot of others who've seen it agree. So thanks for giving me something so special v, it really made me scream in joy when I first saw it. The scarf was a nice touch too, how did you know I was a scarf person?

After about a month of depression, I'm finally starting to pick my head up and shoot for new goals career-wise. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to write when I want, because I need to weigh the choices of writing, or doing what I can to find a job that can actually support me, because I am not making enough money to keep going right now. Fortunately I've just been offered a second job which should pay a little better, and give me more room to grow in the company. So hopefully earning more money means I'll have more peace of mind at home, which might mean more stories... maybe... eh, we'll see
But in my downtime, I'm going to see if I can start reading more fics. I need to regain my sense of knowing what does and doesn't work in stories and grow as a writer if I still want to keep doing this.

As for the scarf, well I thought it looked as if your OC could be one to wear a hair band, so I was hoping a scarf would go well with that :3 (also I drew it in frigid sub-zero temperatures so I wore double scarves. Is that how inspiration works, perhaps.)

Dropped in to say Good luck with the second job, and yeah, stuff like that. I think you're a great writer and that you have great tips and advice for new writers, so I'm happy to see things are looking up for you.

Does your friend draw the Devious Derpy tubler? Nevermind. I checked. They do. The art-style is VERY distincive. And awesome. I love it. Some of my favorite pony art out there.
