Help with Title for New Story · 12:40pm Jul 26th, 2017
Hello, this is Zephyr Spark. I decided to go ahead with a story I've had plans to write for a year now, but I'm having second thoughts about the title "Arrow Dragon." I don't think this title does this story concept justice.
The basic premise:
Rainbow Dash discovers Spike has the makings of a great archer to represent Ponyville in the next Equestrian Games and decides to train him, but conflicts between dragons and ponies could make his dream impossible.
I plan on giving this story certain underlying themes. Spoilers Warning on Plot. There will be racist ponies and griffons, what could be interpreted as terrorist accusations, fear mongering, hate crimes (violence motivated by race), and friends sticking together.
If anyone has a title idea, I'd like to hear it. Thanks for your time.
Hmm, well you could do the tired pun of Dragon's Eye playing on the whole Bullseye. Dragon Archer could also work.
Or what about A Dragon's Shot. or maybe Archery of the Dragon. That's all I got off the top of my head.
Huh... You could go with 'Scaled Heights', alluding to balancing between all the races or if you're draconically inclined, it can reference Spike. 'Shot In The Dark' can also work in referencing the themes you're utilizing. 'Aim High' can be his goals.
