    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

SO.

For starters, The Prisoner of Zebra has been featured at the Royal Canterlot Library. Woo! As apparently, even (especially?) when I delve into the most obscure kinds of stuff I can think of, I am best at ponies.

Which, if you've been paying attention, has in turn inspired me to whip up a THIRD installment of The Flash Sentry Papers: Sentry at the Charge. . I'm rather excited for this one-- I've got a whole mess of ideas for it-- it's just a matter of finding the time to sit down and hammer them out on the keyboard. Which is easier said than done!

Part of the difficulty comes from, y'know, being a grown-ass adult and doing responsible things. But honestly, MOST of the difficulty comes from me getting distracted by other nerdy shit. As for one, I just got back from the grand finale of the big crazy crossover LARP game that inspired me to write Let Me Tell You About My Character. If I'm feeling particularly self indulgent, I may even use the whole 'end of the story' melancholy to fuel another EQG story. But, for the time being, I'm feeling a different flavor of self indulgent, in that I'm gonna focus more on George MacDonald Fraser/Pone mashups.

But yeah. I guess I'm just in an odd spot in which I've got, like, reverse writer's block-- I've got a bunch of stuff I WANT to do, but I haven't had the chance to get it all out of my system just yet.

Man , sounds kind of dirty when I say it that way.

Grats!

Huzzah! Well deserved.

I know that feeling all too well. Losing ten hours of each weekday to work and commuting gives me woefully little for horsewording. You're definitely outclassing me there.

On a less self-piteous note, congrats on the feature! You definitely earned it.

Gratz! It's a well deserved honor.
