Regarding Moondancer's Revenge · 6:35pm Jul 24th, 2017
For those of you who follow me, after some careful consideration, I have decided to delete "Moondancer's Revenge." Due to the extreme negative reactions, I simply decided I will go in a different direction. I do have current in progress stories to work on, "Starlight Glimmer and Friends: Adventures in Equestria (Season 1) and "Celestia's Views are among them. I do have ideas for a story centered around Moondancer though, ones where she doesn't become a bloodthirsty psychopath.
During this time though, I will be thinking of something to write as well, hopefully something that will be more well received. I apologize to those who did enjoy what I had done so far but all the negative reaction simply made me lose the enthusiasm I had on it.
Honestly, I didn't HATE it, but I didn't LIKE it either...

I'm going to be flat out honest, the negative responses actually rattled my confidence a bit and I'm thinking that maybe gore just isn't what this fandom likes anymore....either that or they simply didn't like the idea of Twilight getting killed.

It involved an alternate take on the last part of "Amending Fences" where Moondancer isn't satisfied with Twilight's apology party and manages to turn her old but new friends against Twilight by bringing up the past. The next chapter I was going to publish was where Moondancer and her friends killed both Twilight and Spike but after all the negative attention, my confidence got rattled and I didn't even have any desire to work on it any further.

I honestly never noticed that dark fics are hated on this site. I don't think I've ever seen any make the featured box though. I do know that if people still try to write conversion bureau stories they will get crushed.

I'm sorry but for only the second time during my time on this site, I wound up having my confidence rattled and like I stated earlier, it made it to where I didn't even have any desire to work on it any further. I do hope though that you will enjoy future works of mine. I just started work on it and it should be done sometime in August, I'm not going to rush it. One thing this whole experience has pretty much taught me, publishing incomplete fics and then updating them with each complete chapter does have its downside. To be honest, I might just go back to how I used to do things, wait until the whole thing is complete before submitting it.

Eh, you get more views by releasing chapters one by one, but releasing the whole chapter lets us read quicker.
