Time for my favorite game: Paranoid Obsession! (Can you detect the sarcasm?)
It's basically the point at which I tell my readers what I'm working on so they know I haven't died, I haven't abandoned my works, and I haven't been ignoring them! Why do I play this game? Because I'm paranoid about people hating me for not updating fast enough! So, if you'll all humor me, I'll give the Fimfiction breakdown (the Fanfiction and AO3 breakdowns usually go on my Tumblr so no need to worry about those here ).
One in the Same Thing: Ever since I expanded on it, it has gotten much better reception. This does not mean I'll be expanding every single one-off (like Adagio's Aversion or We Win), but I'm glad that something I did not at all plan out turned out to be something everyone enjoyed. Now, I would like to let you all know that I do have a strong idea how I want the fic to go, so the next few chapters are in the works. In a few days, I'll be without internet for an indeterminate amount of time (I'll only have my phone), but when I return from that, the chapters will be the first things to go up.
A Packed Crowd: I'm not as obsessed with the up and down votes as I used to be on FF.N or other places. It's interesting how I've toned down my obsessive anxiety, but for a fic that started out with the votes constantly evening each other out, I'm actually really glad that people enjoy it enough to keep reading. Just like One in the Same Thing, I have an idea where I want the fic to go, it just needs extra planning because I'm not sure how long I want it to be. I'm not sure when the next chapter will be out, but I'm definitely working at it.
Anon-a-Miss: Don't play, you all-all of you-expected this. As often as I point out the flaws and irritations in the Holiday Special and constantly talk about the things that don't make sense and have an entire bookshelf dedicated to the topic, you all knew this was coming. As it stands, I have counted out five Anon-a-Miss fics I have in the works. Some of them, like one I've called Welcome Back, are really preachy (and I apologize), while some of them, two of which I know off the top of my head but have yet to tentatively name, use real world logic to escalate the events like a lot of other Anon-a-Miss fics (it's a good fic formula and can always be done in so many different ways ), and others kinda just... address a lot of the comments I've seen from others about the way Anon-a-Miss fics tend to go . Hopefully, there's one everyone can enjoy and if not, that's fine too.
Alright, that should be everything... Welp, can't wait to share my children with the world, so I'll get back to writing now that the PO game is over.
Ah! One last thing. Thank you to everyone following me and everyone who has added one of my fics to their bookshelves. I know I don't go to every individual user who does so to thank them, but I do want you to know that I appreciate it greatly and I've met some wonderful people on this site since I joined only four months ago. Hopefully we can have some more great times together.
