Quick update · 1:45pm Jul 15th, 2017
First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who wished me well on my recovery. It's great to see that so many of you out there care, I can't thank you enough for your support.
On 4th July I was involved in an RTC (Road Traffic Collision) after going out for a meal with friends and colleagues. The taxi I was in was hit by a driver who was found to be nearly 3 times over the legal limit. I was trapped in the rear of the car as the door crumpled around my leg, my left arm was also injured as a result of the crash. I was cut out by the Fire Service and airlifted to Hospital.
I've currently had two operations on my leg for a broken Tibia and one on my left arm in order to repair tendon damage in my left wrist which was restricting my hand movement. I've also been left in bed with three cracked vertebra on my lower back, but this hasn't required surgery.
Thankfully, I've been informed that the injuries shouldn't be permanent and that I should recover. I'm due to be discharged just before the end of the month where I'll be stuck around the house for weeks.
Dying Embers will not be coming to an end, once I'm able to type I shall resume work on the story. (It actually took me nearly 20 mins just to type up to this point on my laptop.)
Thank you all again for your support.

Jesus christ mate, three times over the damn limit? I don't know what the limit is over there but here it's 0.05%, which is pretty bad if you're three times over.
It's great to hear that you're on the road to recovery, and I wish you the best!
