"Sea of Misfits" sequel may take a while

Good news and bad news.
The good news is that I'm hard at work writing the sequel to Sea of Misfits and already have the prologue and several scenes written out.
The bad news is that I'm scrapping it and starting over.

The story I was building has potential as a standalone story, but it's a terrible continuation in the Misfits universe. I've got an alternative story line ready to go in my head and I've already started writing it, but it's going to take a while before I'm satisfied enough to start uploading it.

Well, if you need an idea or two, I suggest mentioning some point early on whether or not Celestia decides to hunt them down again. As well as what the crew plans to do now, and whether or not the main 6 plan to get involved in finding/aiding any more misfits. Not telling you to do any of this, just giving you some ideas. Perhaps the friendship council will get involved? Maybe the crew of the Marble Head settles down someplace, possibly making their own country in unexplored lands? More alien shenanigans? I'm interested in where you'll take us next.
