A super adorable picture at the end! 
So... I haven't released any updates or blogs for some time, and the reason for this is complicated. I have been very busy with several things and haven't been able to focus on writing as much as I'd like to. The whole story is being edited by someone and I'm eagerly waiting for the results. After that, I will update the whole story and add two more chapters before I end the story with the final chapter. That's the plan, at least.
I also happen to have loads of other projects, some of them not even being MLP related. Hopefully, I will get something done next week as it should be a lot easier for me than past couple weeks.
I was on a small trip, earlier this week actually, but things didn't go too well. If anything, the shitty experience I had, inspired me to start yet another project. A HiE story. Now, I haven't read too many HiE stories on this site, but I'd imagine it'd be pretty typical as one. A person fed up with his life one day find himself from Equestria and falls in love with it. I could tell you more, but that's all I have right now. 
It's not high on my priority list anyway.
The main goal is to finish "The Power Within" and take a small break after that. Then there's PinkieShy story and the Pokémon crossover. Oh, and the DerpyDash story, plus that HiE story I already mentioned. 
So much to do.
