Origins of a Rainbow Preview! · 2:29am Oct 8th, 2012
Hello my fellow Bronies! Shorty here with a bit of news! As it turns out I am getting a bit carried away with the next chapter of Rainbow and so I am putting a delay on the output of it. You see, there are multiple reasons why this delay has occurred. I happen to have about four certain hours of writing each week now and that is all fine and dandy but today was one of my two hour days and my Allergies came back with a vengeance for the fifth time this month. (Still no idea what is causing it). So I only got about half of my writing in for today as I had to stop about halfway in and was writing VERY slow anyway. So for the chapter I feel will probably take about six to seven thousand words will take a bit longer to put out.
So now to the good part. Because of this I have decided to pop out a bit of a Preview to the next chapter of the story just to keep you all happy and show that yes, I am in fact ACTUALLY writing this time and not just coming up with excuses.
Oh, before all that though; be sure to message me if you are interested in a beta reader spot. I am officially giving away three of them which might actually give me more time to write since I wont have to calculate editing time into my calender! Anyway, here is your chapter preview!
Celestia was panicking. There was really no other way to say it. She looked around the castle desperately. The castle itself had long since been abandoned after She and her sister left some time ago. She knew though that her sister come here from time to time. Celestia burst down door after door as a mix of rage and terror took over her body. She finally got to the last door in the hall. This door she didn’t burst down, she knew better than to upset her sister in such a way. Instead she threw it open with her magic. The room was by far the largest bedroom in the entire castle.
She had given it to Luna after she had given Celestia the saddest look she had ever seen. She couldn’t bear to let her continue and forfeited the room. She then stepped into it, so much time later, letting the memories of when they were fillies flood into her. Both of them had been so innocent, blissfully unaware of the duties they would be asked to fulfill some odd centuries later. ‘Centuries, had it truly been that long?’ Celestia thought to herself as she brushed her hoof against the still pristine sheets on the bed.
The tears had already begun to overtake her as she knelt to the ground. She allowed herself to be overcome with the sadness. She dropped fully to the ground. The princess of the sun cried for what seemed like days but was in reality only just a few minutes. When she finally opened her eyes she felt the sadness completely disappear. In its place was wonder, wonder about what that strange orb was doing underneath Luna’s bed. She rolled it out with her hoof, looking into the swirling light that held itself inside the glass object.
Celestia investigated the foreign object having never seen anything like it before in her very long life. She reached out her magic to bring it closer to her face and then almost instantly blacked out. Her vision came back but to an entirely new place.
