Howdy Folks, I'm Back! (From my cruise to Alaska...)
So, if you haven't already noticed, I revoked The Amulet of Shades.
GASP! Whatever for?!
Well, here is the thing. This story will be good. My early skills as a writer - not so good. I recently read through a book on "how to write a novel." Yep. That was the title. And I am seeing what I am doing wrong both on my own cognizance, and by various comments I have gotten from you readers on a few different sides. A few things have stuck out to me, which are in agreement with each other. So, before letting anyone else read a poorly constructed beginning, I am working to fix it quickly, in addition to completing chapter 5. I will re-release it with chapter 5 included, hopefully within the next two weeks.
What changed? I did not develop the main character. I left Tempest high and dry, and for that, i apologize. I was having... too much fun playing with the Mane 6, and got distracted. You understand that, right? So with apologies, you mayyy want to at least read the first section of chapter one. I will also blog if any other important changes occur, but what you have already read, will all be left intact!
It will just be... better.
I was just about to get to reading Chapter 4 when it disappeared. Quite a strange experience, I'll tell you
Still, I'm glad you know what happened with the story and that it wasn't taken down by the site itself.

Sorry about that - I was going to board mail my watchers and especially you at this point, but I've been so busy getting the home back under control since returning that I haven't been able to sit down to do it. Thank you for your valuable input. It will go directly into making story improvements, and I think you will like what you see. Sorry for the false start there... Don't hate me too much!

No, it's okay. I'm glad everything's alright and you just want the story the best it could be. If you need a pre-reader at some point, you know where to find one
