Equestria Girls: What if? · 9:54pm Jun 28th, 2017

We all know that thus far, aside from the Mane/Main cast (and Spike), nearly every person in the EQG movie-verse that has been touched by magic loses access to all gained abilities by the end of the adventure: yes, I said "nearly", because I'm pretty sure that the Dazzlings/Sirens/whatever-you-refer-to-them-as don't really apply to this rule for various reasons, the most obvious being that they already HAD magical abilities BEFORE they were officially introduced to the cast...but that's an issue for another day: what's important in the here-and-now is that I'd like to take this time to explore what sort of powers we might have seen if the (reformed) villains we've seen thus far got the morality change but got to keep their magic, though just to be clear, I won't be including Sunset Shimmer or Sci-Twi in this list, for obvious reasons; oh, and just a heads up: spoilers ahead:

part of me wants to let her keep that wish granting mirror, but aside from the fact that it was completely destroyed by the time we were done with her ("seven years bad luck", am I right?), I think that was just a side effect and/or benefit of the magic, not the actual magic itself: after all, what does turning into THIS have to do with any of the other stuff she did (i.e. cleaning up messes and/or trapping people inside some sort of limbo)?

😁 thank you, Mr. Yankovic; I think what the magic was REALLY doing was appealing to her desire at the time to have no distractions so that she could be the biggest star in the world, in an effort to garner attention; ergo, her transformation into discount-Giganta was the magic granting her wish in the most literal way possible; now that she realizes that she doesn't need fame and fortune to be liked, she could have potentially used that size change for good, and be honest: how awesome would it be if we had someone who could grow to the size of a skyscraper in the show?

okay: TECHNICALLY this is cheating a bit, seeing how she isn't really a part of the series, yet, but I felt it was still appropriate, given the discussion she and the others had at the end of "Mirror Magic", which I don't DARE ruin the humor of: watch it for yourselves: it's worth it...but back on track: a few people I've listened in on have wondered why her human form seems to have a wrist watch and I can sort of see where they're coming from: I mean, she has no real reason to wear it...or DOES she? recall if you will the season 5 finale and...well, here's just ONE idea I'd like to throw out there:

actually, given the events of "Legend of Everfree", I think this one is pretty self-explanatory
