The apples episode and why I love this show...

Well, you warned me. You said I would and well...

I broke. I mean it, I broke hard during this episode. I havent cried this hard during pony since the CMC got thier marks, and it still stings for me. Every moment I watched in this episode was just a reminder that these two would never get to see their children grow up. I loved acting and writing in this episode, from our mains down to the two guest stars. Just watching these two grow and get to know one another was just simply beautiful in it's own way and I can't wait to watch it again and again.

It makes me realize why I love this show so much...

We don't need to see the graves of Buttercup and Bright Mac to know that they are gone, just the words and emotions. We don't always need to know Starswirl's history to give us a chance to appreciate the world, that is our job. Sometimes, the writers can be limited in what they can do or explain. That is all right, and I can expect only so much. However, that is where we come in and explain on our own. But then you get episodes like this one that shows how the writers will go the extra mile to break the boundaries of what they can tell and give us all a story that wer can all enjoy.

Yes there wil be mistakes, but there will always be a great episode to watch for us all.

Ps. As a huge fan of Sweet Taste of Cake, kind of want to put this into the story about Cup's and Butter's relationship.

Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it (not that I doubted that you would enjoy it)! This episode replaced Crusaders of The Lost Mark as my favorite episode of the show! The day it aired I watched it twice in a row, and I cried both times
