Speaking Of Stories That Have Needed An Ending For Four Years... · 7:24am Jun 22nd, 2017
Some of you may be wondering what that is, and I wouldn't blame you, as some of you are new to the fandom, and some may have not encountered this particular bundle of insanity.
So, let me introduce you to it.
Lez Ponies is your typical HiE Story with a twist: Our Protagonist is a straight woman in a world of magical talking horses, mostly populated by lesbians. The twist is that Kate, our self insert, is incredibly attractive to other women, despite being straight.
And in Equestria, where magic is in the very air, she may as well be made of catnip and tuna in a world full of kittens.
If that sounds silly, it's only because it is. I highly recommend giving it a read, you will enjoy being pleasantly befuddled.
Oh my god, I remember this fic now! I read this back in the day, before I had an account, and so I didn’t favorite it. Which meant I lost track of it for four years... but now it’s back!
Oh I totally forgot all about this fic! I read it, it was great, but forgotten after reading the 14 chapters. I want to read those last two chapters, but I forgot how the rest of the story went. ^^; Anyway, happy to see another favorite has reached an ending!
Just from you mentioning and linking to the story I started reading it..... PRICELESS!!!! If it wasn't so late, I'd finish it in one sitting.....alas, sleep beckons and work calls in the morning. Good news, it will still be there tomorrow.

I understand. HiE is not everyone's cup of tea, but some of them are a special animal and worth reading regardless.
I had a look at this and didn't really enjoy it. The protagonist is treated like a buttmonkey, just getting abuse and bad luck heaped on her, and she also does not want any part of the attention she attracts from ponies, so their attempts at romance are neither especially fun to read nor likely to go anywhere. It's like the opposite of entertainment - just frustration all around.

actually, since you 'cant stand HiE' too, may be you can give me some insight on project sunflower if you've seen it? I had it in my read-later for 2 years, rating and view count are astounding but, well, dreaded human tag. it's kind of personal quirk about mixing worlds that must never be mixed

A quick glance at their tv tropes page tells me we seem to be looking at reverse EQG with a bit of an avatar twist (the blue one, not the airbender).
If that's your jam, go for it. Personally the description doesn't do it for me.
