E3 this year · 12:50pm Jun 21st, 2017

The story of e3 this year can be said in a few words: Mixed performance to Great Surprises. This was the first time that I ever watched all of it, and like most I think I can safetly say that the two best shows this year was Nintendo and, as strange as it is, Ubisoft. I mean, I'm more excited about Mario + Rabbids then I should be after that show. The announcement of Beyond Good and Evil 2, while I never played the original, is obviously pretty big and Assassin Creed Origins is like it is going to be a hell of a good time. On Nintendo's side I got possibly anything I could ever want, but mostly just the fact that they admitted they are making a Pokemon Switch brought tears. So, how do they answer to that awesome news? SHOWING THE EXISTENCE OF METROID PRIME 4! If I didn't have a reason to by a Switch before hell do I have one now. I don't care if we didn't get another Smash Brothers or Animal Crossing, Nintendo did a stellar job when it came to big announcements. Odyssey is also beating my expectations for what it was going to be, and I now want that game more then I did before.

So while Xbox, PS, EA (obviously), and Bethesda didn't hit it out of the park, I don't give a crap. I got the things I wanted from both Ubisoft and Nintendo, and that is pretty much all I really need.

not really care about metroid odyssey i'm hype for other than that i'm disappointed plus a new pokemon is already gonna go on the 3DS so i'm just wondering why bring it to the switch but oh well

I just hope Ubisoft doesn't Ubisoft it.
