So you like TwiDash, do you? · 5:15am Oct 7th, 2012
My good mate and brilliant fellow writer Steel Resolve just published one! If you liked Candlelight, you'll love this. It's got all the awkward bookworm adorableness you know and love, plus his own unique style.
Love, Dawn
Is it just a coincedence that I've been seeing a ton of Twidash lately?
why yes i do love twidash; sadly i have already read it
Will do! Love your recommendations, they are always worth it.
Also, I have to do this, but, Uni Days?
No thanks

407537 How can you possibly "love" such a retarded thing?
I was half-expecting you to talk about that "An interesting offer" story, which would have been downright creepy, as I'd finished reading it just seconds before getting this notification.
I'm happy you didn't, though, because that story honestly felt ripped off of Candlelight to a degree, and it was just far more poorly written.
407536
There does seem to be quite a lot lately.
407538
Thank you! Don't worry, it's coming soon ;)
407539
Well... okay then.
In answer to your question....................

Already read!

...You're a bit of an odd fellow.
407563 Just 'cause I abhor like-gendered shipping in cartoons like MLP? Whatever you say.
407539 how could i love such a retarded thing? well lets see. i love my mlpfim. i love reading stories about these ponies. I enjoy seeing these ponies happy. Romance generally involves two ponies becoming much happier, so logically one can conclude that happier ponies equals a happier me.
edit: ah so you're a narrow minded bigot
407566 You forgot to account for "like-gendered shipping."
407571
Each to their own, just don't troll my blog posts.
407565
It was more about the flood of emoticons in both of your responses. Literally abhorring homosexual ships in anything is kind of odd, too, I guess, but whatever. You said it, though, not me.
407574 As I'm not taking pleasure from this I'd hardly call it "trolling" but by your request I will cease and desist.
407577 It's not like I oppose RL relationships that involve like-gendered couples, just the idea of it being brought into fictional media that isn't written in by the creators themselves.
407578
Next time you should probably lead with that so I don't mistake you for a troll :P
407578
That's still odd. I mean, why just homosexual pairings, and not heterosexual? The two are mutually non-canon in almost every case.
407588 Fine, sorry that things were unclear.
407589 Because heterosexual love feels more believable to me than if it's homo. I'm not sure how to elaborate on this any further.
407551

But... Sorry, but that really doesn't make sense to me, especially in this fandom. Almost every single male character in the show doesn't even come close to being as well-developed and characterized as the female characters. A tendency towards homosexuality was purely inevitable.
And the believability of the shipping in any given story depends not on the genders of the characters involved, but the skill of the author, the premise of the story, and your own personal beliefs regarding actual heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual/pansexual love.
407604 I literally have no idea what that means...

407606 I honestly do not care about either statement, I will only ever support hetero pairings/shipping and that is that.

It was in my RiL list before I got here, but after this blog post, it's the first thing I'm going to read next

407635 Either be straight with me just once or I don't continue.
407639
I apologize, just thought it might be funny to do
.
At any-rate in all seriousness (to your comment off my original) dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/shrug_Twilight_Sparkle.png we all got our own tastes.
407656 I would hardly call any of that "funny" but you're right, we all should be respectful of other's likes and whatnot a little more.
407664
Quite. That means no more blindly responding to posts about what other people like with a series of emoticons that express your personal disgust, yes? And no more calling what other people like "retarded", either. I assure you, that's why you were taken to be a troll.
407683 I realise that to be the case and, if nothing else, I may not have to post on here anymore after it all.
It's... not... long... enough...
Need more Shipping!
407536
It seems authors are finally realizing how much everyone and their mother loves Twidash.
407689 The inner workings of your mind are an enigma.
407827 Except this one. The word is "machinations" not "workings".
407829 In the original episode: The word used was workings, it was soon after changed, for the comedic value of a lesser intelligence having more intelligence.
407830 I'm not likely to have known that, am I?
407833 Well, uh.
Shaddap.
407835
Well, I'm not a big fan of TwiDash, but anything that can stay featured that long which has been written by you is probably good enough to read anyway.
Both felt similar. But still a bit different. Both great!
Not my preferred ship, but I'll give it a shot. It does sound adorable.
407545
From what I can tell, I seems that Twidash is one of the easiest parings to do "right." My personal favorite pairing is still Flutterdash, but I've seen maybe one or two Flutterdash stories that I would consider pretty good, whereas I could probably name half a dozen good-quality Twidash fics off the top of my head. It probably says something about the pairing when the average quality of the fics is, as far as I can see, a fair bit higher than most others. Then again, it's entirely possible it's just me.

'Twas a good story!
Don't think the word like covers it. Ever since I first read the pairing I haven't been able to stop reading it. It's everything I've ever wanted in a romance. I'm pretty happy that there's been a sudden influx lately of fics for it. This one included, which by the way was pretty good. Thanks for the heads up.
I just added that to my read later list, and then I noticed this! :D
407595
Sounds like someone's a homophobe, hmm?
PS: No offence! :3

Have I not already said that I'm NOT opposed to REAL LIFE like-gendered couples but JUST LIKE-GENDERED SHIPPING!!!

actually i prefer twishy
