Update

I feel like I should write a short explanation for my absence, at the least. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I can give a brief explanation.

The job offer that I had a few months ago was suddenly withdrawn after a month of apartment searching. That hit me pretty hard, though I've moved past it now. Unfortunately, the menial job that was keeping me afloat has fallen through as well, leaving me jobless. I have some savings, but I don't want to burn through them. So, within a month I'll either be moving somewhere to start a new job, or moving home for (hopefully) a short while.

Needless to say, that's made it somewhat difficult to find the will to write. However, I've made some changes in my life and things are feeling a bit brighter, luckily. I'm still working on my story, if slowly. I'm too damn stubborn to let it die. :P

That said, I have a bit of time to right now to write, so I'm going to see how much I can get done editing the next chapter. Wish me luck!
