IN WHICH I GO DARK FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE
Hey, did you notice that my heading isn't bolded or underlined like my other 195 headings? Well, there's a reason for that.
As most of you know, I do all of my work on an eight year old MacBook. That means everything is obsolete and can't be upgraded. Many many sites using newer codecs or whatever are nigh-unusable to me. Regrettably, that now includes FimFic. Knighty's transition today to FimFic 4.0 broke the site for me completely. In addition to the fact that the FRIGGIN' BUTTONS don't work, I can't write, respond to, or upvote comments. More importantly, my PM's apparently don't send (although I can read what others send me). This simply makes it even more imperative I get myself a new laptop as soon as possible. But that won't happen immediately.
As a result of my inability to use the site, I must take a hiatus from FimFic until I get a machine on which FF4.0 works. In the meantime, I'll still be writing stories for you (and also for me), so with luck and perseverance on my part I should have quite a backlog of stuff to post once I return.
To my regular readers, and even my non-regulars, thank you for following me and believing in me. Y'all have helped me more than you'll ever know. Just to repeat: This is NOT farewell; it's just ta-ta for now.

I look forward to reading a story based on this experience, in which Sunset Shimmer buys a computer which she names Amadeus, but accidentally gets burrito drippings all over its brand new keyboard.

I hope it's a short hiatus. I'm still discovering the oddities of the new site myself by way of phone-only browsing for now.
