If you work near a bread slicer...

... be sure to wear cut-resistant gloves. Slicing your finger open on rapidly-moving blades is not a fun experience, nor is cleaning the wound afterwords. Safety regulations are there for a reason! I'm lucky that I still have an intact finger, and that it'll be healed up fully within a month, but that's something I hope none of you ever have to experience.

    Updates and a question

Hi everyone. Figured I'd post a little update about what's happening in case anyone's still following me. With the assistance and advice of resident Navy sailor Kaipony, I've been working for several months now on an a three-book, alternate-history World War Two naval saga that pits Celestia and Equestria against Nightmare Moon and her allies. But unlike my previous stories, which were written,

If you could erase one MLP character from existance, who would it be?

I'd get rid of Button Mash. Not because I have anything against him, but because it would spare us all from the seemingly countless incest stories he's involved in. I know every fandom has it's seeder, unsavory sides, but good God, why are so many people into stories of a grade-school child having sex with his mom, or her wanting to have sex with him? Knowing that his (non-canon) mother

    New Story: 'The Basement'

December has finally come once again! Christmas lights are up, trees are being decorated, and stores are filled with our favorite holiday music! Why not mark the occasion with some winter-themed horror?

Printed version of "The Monster Below" Update 6 - Halfway done · 6:35pm May 28th, 2017

Hi everyone

Well, a month has passed, and from the responses in the last blog about the revision of The Monster Below, it's clear that all of you would rather wait and get a revised story than one that would be out quicker. Because of that, I will continue revising the story until it's been cleaned up from top to bottom. But as a warning, my writing plate remains full, so it will likely take another year, and perhaps even more until this process is completed. However, there may be an upside: if I finish the revision around the time that The Monster Below: Sunfall is completed, then it may be possible to print and ship all three stories at once.

I will continue to post updates on the revision as they come. Today marks such an occasion, as I managed to finish chapter 14, meaning that the revision is now halfway done. Next update will come when we're 75% of the way there.

Are you taking orders for this yet or did I miss it?

Wait, if you finish both at the same time, wouldn't you want to revise the last two stories as well, therefore lengthening the process?

I will not be taking orders for the book until the revision is complete.

The big difference with the first book is that I didn't get an editor until the last third, leaving the first two-thirds unedited. Book two was proofread from beginning to end, and only needs a few tweaks to include elements from the most recent seasons of the show (Thorax and the changelings turning good, for example) to get them up to speed.

Well, take all the time. I'll just sit here and wait. anf get old and grumpy of course.(wait, we germans can't, we're just so much fun to be around!)

Get yourself a cake and have fun and a healthily full schedule.
