Happy days are here again! +Story Updates

Hello all you beautiful ponies, lings and other creatures. I hope you are having a great summer so far! (Or winter if you are on the opposite side of the world...) School is done, the weather is nice, aaaand I've been writing!
I shall have a new chapter of A Promise is Kept for you all this week, once my pre-readers are done with it. This will be the last chapter of Promise, but that doesn't mean I will stop doing clop fics. I still plan on doing more, just don't have anything for certain yet. (Maybe I'll try my hoof at one of those 'special' after episode airs type of clop fics, who knows at the moment?)
Then, if all goes well, there shall be a new Long Live the Queen chapter next week. The next chapter of LLtQ is well under way, we finally get to meet a few more canon characters, begin to try to solve problems, and should have some fun with Shiny, Velvet and Discord. Hope to see you all around for that!
I also have another story in the works. This one won't be about our favorite changeling queen ( how dare I not write about her!) but it should be interesting. Work in progress title is 'The Protector' and will probably be mostly OC's, (maybe a few from my other stories will peek their heads in, but not sure yet). It will be a somewhat unique story(at least, I haven't seen one like it myself before. Don't want to give too much away just yet ) involving a Timberwolf and an ancient legend. After I finish this next chapter for LLtQ, my focus will be on 'The Protector' for awhile. The plan is for it to be around 40k words (so just a novella) and I am using it as a kind of June NaNoWriMo. (Just a little challenge for myself while the idea is hot in hoof.) I plan to post some during the month, but a lot of it will likely be posted once the month is over. But it WILL be done being written by then. (So that should be some fun stuff to enjoy! )
