Jotnar Warhost · 9:06pm May 25th, 2017
Some illustrations of the newly introduced villains who will be appearing in more detail next chapter.
You've already seen Strilda, the snowy owl griffon.
The hardy crimson moose, Thrym, leads the frontier.
But the Warhost is commanded by the iron hoof of Angrboda, the fearsome caribou matriarch who bears scars across her face from a pair of Frost Wyrms.
And to the right, the demented, headhunting muskox by the name of Grendel. He acts as a living war-machine, charging through gates and formations with ease, pulling off heads with his bare hooves.
These bloodthirsty mercenaries of the Frozen North live for battle and leave mountains of corpses in their wake.
The Crystal Empire has much to fear.
fear indeed.
I have faith in Shining's capabilities and the capabilities of those under him.
I'm probably being overly optimistic, but there you go.
Going to be a hard fight either way.
You certainly do know how to come up with memorable characters, Purple.
Well done.
And they are, indeed, a scary, fearsome lot.
Ones that I'M hoping eventually get their just comeuppance, along with a certain Paymaster and the REST of his motley crew.
4546937 Well, stay tuned.
Events might well surprise you. Remember the circumstances.
Cascadius doesn't like them. He never spoke with them.
So who do you think did?
4547645 Oh, I will.
Hmmm, okay.
And I do.
Ah, yes.
Forgot about that for a sec.
As to that....
I have not a clue.
But I have a feeling we'll find OUT who soon enough.
And I didn't mention this in my earlier post, but I find Strilda to be oddly pretty.
The OTHER three, and ESPECIALLY Grendel, not so much.
4547717 Yeah that was kind of what I was going for.
I mean a part snowy owl, part snow leopard griffon. That'd be an incredible sight to see.
Doesn't make her any less deadly.
4547784 Cool, and indeed it would.
And that's very true.
