I kind of forgot to brag about this. Mainly because I got caught up in working on some of the stuff for Evolution and of course the main story.
This one is just brilliant from start to finish. I love everey single detail about it.
I find it interesting that Belle and Lighitng are on opposite sides of each other, since their journey through my conception of them and to the written page have been interesting paraelles. I also just love the addition of the staff on Belle's back, looking so much like Spark's.
Shining and Cadence look so happy together, as they should be. This couple suffered through so much in the main story that giving them what they deserve seems appropiate.
When I see Kudos, stading with his back to Conquest, all I can think of is what my brother said when he read Kudos in the fic, "It seems the more you hate a character, the more you do with them." Why I have no idea if it's true or not, Kudos is probably one of the things I hate the most about season 4. His character, his arc, everything about him is just so stupidly aggervating that I want to blow him up.
I also love the royals in the background, each having a different feel to them. Lastly, there is Titan, watch over them all and ready to put another piece on the board. The most important piece. (Speaking of wich, he hasn't had any screen time lately. Hmmmm, what is he planning.)
This one, is probably my favorite so far.

Dislestia: Like you said, one of the best things about Discord is the fact that you can get away with anything. This is why I usually leave the sex to the imaginations of the readers. I think it's more fun when I have Discord say something about a garden hose or the three ring circus that the love life of a god of choas is nothing to sneeze at. I love the look that these two are giving each other. Celestia has a look that only a few know about, a playful and sexy demeanor. I always liked it when Celestia is letting her hair down or trying to show that she is normal (One line I like is in the journal of the two sisters where she says she does not want to be a princess but a guardian) And I feel like Discord is the kind of guy who brings that out in her. When I wrote his reasons fro trying out love, it was what I felt like why he would fall in love, Discord's smile has the look of someone breaking the fourth wall saying how he got the hot moma.
This is also kind of one of the big thing I have against the marriage in the proper cannon. Celestia feels way too much of a doormat in the story, like she doesn't really matter beyond the power up or being a baby mama. There is nothing there that has ever told me that this is the couple of the show I should be rooting for. There is nothing there but "I like her because of superfical reasons."
Pinkie/Artie: I love Pinkie here, her smile and grin shows her at her best, being the bubbly and happy mare that I know and love. I also love the way Artie is drawn here (My favorite of the Starfleet members because he has a back story that is worth talking about) A warm and happy grin in a new life that he has earned. Funding a way to open his heart to somebody that he never expected. The cake twins also add to the feel good atmoshpere, each playing with their new friend.
I love the overall happy atmospher that the image provides, or more appropiately, a calm familial atmosphere. Artie and Pinkie's relationship has been fun to write for. A girl who is willing to open her heart and a guy who needs to learn how to open his. Through loss, the two are finding a way to break through their indiviual losses.
Sparity: Aww, the percousous crush, a trope that seems to pop up a lot in the cartoons and shows I watch. I really REALLY love the image here, it has this whole harlequinn romance novel imagery going on. With Spike being the muscular and buff man holding his dearly beloved in his arms. I love the look here, resembling what he thought that his hero persona would be. Rarity has a glamourous look, with a motherly beauty to her. He even has his claw on her belly, protecting her and she is looking into his eyes ready to embrace their love.
It takes a lot to ruin a good Sparity for me, and the cannon did it. It's like he didn't want to try and justify why Spike and Rarity love each other. What also gets me is that Spike's age up in the cannon was done horribly!!!! No buildup, no reasoning beyond "It happened" and there was no pathos. Hell, I didn't even know how it happened until I read the fourth season. But the most egerious of all in the relationship is that the author writes Rarity horribly, so there is no reasoning for why they love each other there. I hoped to correct that and show off why I love the relationship in the story proper.
Flutterdash: (OTP :) ) This image looks like a freaking movie poster, I love it. The pretty dress, Dash's outfit, and even Rhymey's cruel look (more and more, I am glad I didn't give Rhymey an unexpeted face turn.) Kind of makes me think of a disney film, complete with a romance song in it-
I love to do romances involving long term friends. Kim and Ron, a few anime, Lizzie Mcgurie, Danny and Sam. Ith's not that I think you have to fall in love with your best friend, but I do like the idea that romance starts by being friends first. See one of the biggest problems with Rhymey's relationship isn't just the OC and main characterness, it isn't the fact that I am a Flutterdash, it's this. It's dull and uninteresting. There is no reason for them to be together other than, "I love the bland and boring guy." There is a reason why I take my time with the romance here. It's also why I love this shot, where the two are flying off into a world of bliss against the backdrop of a villian.

What I appreciate the most of the fanart above is that at first Celesto looks like he has the head of a triceratops (at least until you check again and see where the horns are). Makes him appear closer to what he actually is rather than what Mykan says he is.
