Is Flash Sentry a Bad Character? · 10:55pm May 20th, 2017
Flash Sentry is a supporting character in the film series My Little Pony Equestria Girls. Flash is 1 of the My Little Pony's franchise's most hated characters. Several people hated Flash after they watched the first Equestria Girls film. Flash seems to be the most hated My Little Pony character. It's time for me to review this hated character and describe what I think of Flash.
Flash's storyline:
1 of the main reasons why Flash is hated is for his storyline. The problem with his storyline is that he doesn't have a real storyline. Despite being a supporting character he pretty much adds nothing to the plots of the films. His "storyline" is having a crush on Twilight Sparkle and since they never get together their relationship could be considered pointless. It's weird that Flash keeps showing up in the films, because he hasn't added anything important. He adds so little that his role in the films is forgettable. Overall his "storyline" is very weak. I give his "storyline" is a 3 out of 10 which is not good.
Flash's personality:
Flash is considered to be a generic and normal character that has very few personality traits. That is true. It's hard to think of personality traits that Flash has. He is a nice person who likes Twilight Sparkle and maybe Sunset Shimmer. Oh and he's a guitar player with unique hair. Poor Flash lacks a real personality. I give his personality a 6 out of 10, because he is nice.
Flash's entertainment value:
Flash can be a boring character in some parts, but he does have some entertaining scenes. It's funny when he accidentally bumped into walls in the first 2 films. Plus the scenes where girls ignore Flash are pretty funny and help make him a sympathetic guy. I give his entertainment value a 7 out of 10.
Overall Flash is not super amazing, but he's not bad. His storyline is pretty bad, but he's a nice and occasionally entertaining character. I give Flash a 6 out of 10. Not great, but Flash is decent and is not worth the hate that he gets.
