That last one's worth discussing further, because the animation is a promo for Everfree Northwest, which I will be appearing at in three days!

They landed me as a community guest — which mostly means that I get to talk about ponyfic at three days' worth of writing track panels, and help judge the Iron Author competition. (Write a short story at the convention under tight time pressures, and pit it against your fellow authors!)

EDIT: Also, I just learned I'll be on a panel at Bronycon (with Bookplayer and AugieDog among others) talking about making the transition between ponyfic and original fiction! So if you don't see me this weekend, you'll get another chance in August …
