Live Blog: A Flurry of Emotions

Cuz why not? As always, spoilers ahead!

Cadence and Shining still look so haggard. Have they not brushed their manes in weeks?

"Just a couple" yeah, okay; I knew before you opened that closet there would be more than "a couple." Twilight Sparkle doesn't do "a couple" of things.

I love how into the whole aunt role Twilight is. And that is definitely the appropriate amount of diapers.

Also, you know Whammy is going to go missing sometime during the episode, and Flurry will throw a tantrum that almost destroys Ponyville, both because of that and because she realizes her parents have been gone awhile, and she wants her mommy! Or something to that effect, who knows?

Or maybe it'll be a balance between work and play? Or both?

Or maybe a lesson on KEEPING AN EYE ON YOUR CHILD

They left Whammy behind, didn't they.

Also, married friends try and hang out with single friends but end up talking about their child and accidentially alienating them didn't happen. Nice. I expected the friend to be confused or something, but he's so easy going and surfer dude-esque.

Why didn't they just teleport everywhere???

Poor Flurry; this must be her first time hanging out with other foals.

Won't Flurry contract what the other foals have?

Yep, yep, I knew Whammy would disappear. But I really love Flurry during this scene, where she searches for it. She's soooo cute.

"Spike, you're floating," Twilight said casually.

Oh, it's like a storm on the ocean! Like a tantrum is.

Also, sometimes Twilight, you need to yell at a child; at this point, maybe it was warranted?

I love Octavia's expression, like, "Ugh, I've already heard them talk about their child twenty million times already, can you guys please stop?"

I love how they're such stereotypical parents that everything reminds them of their child.

Okay, so that is the new outro music? Am I correct?

Overall, a very enjoyable episode with lots of cute moments. I liked it a lot.
