    Generic Blog Title

Figured I should write a thing about recent chapter updates. Yep I have been writing on Bootlegging again, I don't make any guarantees on how often I'll be writing new chapters but I'll try to finish it.

    Okay so...

Okay, so I was browsing around my stories and I noticed something in the groups on my stories they have been added to. Apparently, some of my stories ended up on "Goodreads" and I have no idea how that even happen. Is this just something that happens or did someone go in an add them?

My condolence, hope you're well

4518709 Same from me.

Be safe,. my friend.

I'm curious, though. Is this in Doniphan, MISSOURI?
(Granted, I don't know of any OTHER Doniphan located in the US.)

The reason I ask is that I'm a Missourian myself, and I once lived down in that part of the state (albeit in the Howell-Oregon County area (West Plains, Thayer; etc.)).

4518709 4518755 Thank you both.

Yep, Doniphan, Missouri though I do believe there is a Doniphan in Nebraska as well.

4518776 From me, you're very welcome, and I'll be keeping you and yours and everyone in your area in my thoughts and prayers.

'Cause believe me, the folks up here are catching this stuff just as bad as you all are.

Kinda thought so (lovely town, Doniphan; been through there a few times in the past).
And I did not know that.
Thanks for the info, hun.

4518826 Thanks, yea it's effecting a lot of people in the midwest from what I've seen.

Oh I believe it, and I hope they all remain safe as well.

Yea it is a nice town, recently dubbed the official home of "Billy Yates" I've not heard of him but he's suppose to be a popular country music singer.

4520762 Yeah, unfortunately.

Yeah, that's me, too.
Especially since we still have family down in that area (my two youngest siblings; etc.).

Yup.
"Billy Yates", huh? Can't say that I've heard of him, either, but that's cool to know.

Oh, and my brother-in-law Steve showed me some footage from the "Ozark Radio News" YouTube channel about the flooding in the West Plains area. I thought you and some other folks might find them interesting:

Sorry if that first one's a bit dark, but I think it might've been nighttime when it was filmed

4520873 Hope your family is staying safe.

Thankfully it seems to have calmed down enough here, hasn't been a lot of rain lately and the water river has gone down. A lot of cleanup work though. I know the local bank flooded out and they have it gutted.

Yea, I'm not sure who Billy Yates is either, I don't listen to country music.

Mmm, West Plains tends to get it pretty good during stormy weather.

Steve Inman, who owns the local feed store did some drone footage of the bridge that spans Current River during the worst of the flooding.
