Because it is LIES, ALL LIES.
Lauren Faust only brought us the ponies we know and love today, but you know who created their universe?
Her name is Bonnie Zacherle, the true creator of My Little Pony.

Faust is the creator of the current Equestria.
Zacherle created the universe in which it resides.
Also funny that people thought Disturbed was the owner of 'Sound of Silence".
4510342 Of course, it's also funny how said song got covered as "The Sounds of Silence" - in 1990 Paul Simon (the REAL owner) said that when he registered the copyright for the song the copyright was for "The Sound of Silence".
