Equestria Girls has Questionable Continuity... · 1:08pm Apr 24th, 2017
Just realized something. EG's continuity is kinda whack. According to the creators of Rainbow Rocks, the movie takes place about six months after Equestria Girls. Not only that, but apparently, the EQ Holiday Special takes place AFTER Rainbow Rocks and around Christmas Time.
However, most schools (in the US) don't go into session until end of August/beginning of September. So, even if the Fall Formal had been during the beginning of the school year (which is most plausible since it's the FALL Formal), that means technically, Rainbow Rocks couldn't have happened until February and the Friendship Games would have been sometime in either late March or mid-April from the environment presented in the third movie. How did the holiday special take place during Christmastime if the Sirens didn't even show up until February? Can the EG universe time-teleport itself backwards?
