Not sure why, but I'm compelled to tell someone about Jelly no Puzzle, and the only way I have to solve that is by posting about it for you, nebulous audience! (and RT) Anyway, about a year ago Hana no Puzzle was released, and it was one of the most original, cerebral, clever puzzle games I've ever played. On a whim I decided to see if the developer made anything else, and it turns out an awesome sequel was just (pre-)released. It's entirely in Japanese (the only thing you need to know is "left-click moves left, right-click moves right, connect same colored blocks"), and there's only twenty levels, but that just means you can be reasonably expected to complete all of them. Check them both out if you enjoy block puzzles or just clever design at all.

In other, perhaps more relevant news, LOEG just announced an October Writing Event Thing, and that's an excuse to write something else finally. I don't really have any ideas for it yet, though. (Besides maybe trying to see if I can write a concurrent story and have it be completely unrelated to The Event, but that's a meta-idea anyway.)
