Hello all. I haven't got any new Final Fantasy updates now. Writing has been going slow on my other projects, and thus that puts the Final Fantasy crossover on hold. I just wanted to take a moment and share something I just cooked up. I have come up with children of the mane six. Pretty much what fits in my own head canon. Here they are. One you will recognize, the rest are new.
Evening Nightfall: the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle. Her father is not Flash Sentry or a Pony version of Timber Spruce, but instead an oc I am still developing. Known as "Evie" to her loved ones, like her mother she is a prodigy, gaining her cutie mark in magic at a young age. however, she doesn't seem to have a desire to develop that magic as a scholar, or reach the rank of princess. Instead, she has gained an interest in stage magic, and her goal is to become the greatest magician of all time. However, unlike Trixie in her early days, she is very humble and doesn't seek to lord her power over others. Mainly she doesn't want to become a princess because she feels she can't reach the same level of prestige as her mother. She has a rivalry with Fluttershy's daughter Circus.
Little side note, but since I count the SombraXTwilight pairing story Kiss of the Dark by Soothing Stone as part of my head canon, only with some altered events, Evening also has an older half-brother named Dusk Trail, who is the son of Twilight and Sombra. Note Dusk is Soothing Stone's character not mine.
Circus Revarie: The daughter of Fluttershy and Discord. She is the first pony-draconaquis hybrid and like her father she possesses reality warping abilities. However, much of her powers are restricted by magical blocks until she is old enough to handle her powers. It should be noted that it was her father that gave birth to her instead of her mother. Fluttershy is still unsure of how that is possible, only Discord knows. She is very mischievous and more than a bit creepy. But she seems to revel in it. One of her hobbies is taking dolls apart and reassembling them in mismatched shapes. She is close to both of her parents, but more so her father. She is a bit of a daddy's girl you see. She has a somewhat friendly rivalry with Evening Nightfall, though both girls tend to get competitive with one another. The one true joy of her life is Applejack's son Cortland. She has a major crush on him and is more affectionate than she should be.
Gale Force Wind: The adopted griffin son of Rainbow Dash. His biological mother is Gilda. Gilda had a one night stand with a male griffon and became pregnant. However, not ready to raise a child, she left her egg in the care of her old friend Rainbow Dash. Since then, Gale has taken after Rainbow Dash due to her influence. He often emulates her, taking after her brash and confident attitude. However, Gale loves to impress others becoming quite the show off. He can be a bit rude not afraid to call people names and is very protective of his mother. His reverence of his mother is so great that he died his head feathers in a rainbow to emulate her. Though he is happy with his adopted mother, he sometimes thinks of his real mother and wishes he could meet her. He is often paired up with Rarity's son Indigo Gem. Though he finds him a dork and a mama's boy.
Indigo Gem: The son of Rarity. His father is unknown as Rarity refuses to talk about him. She is more than a little embarrassed that she had a one night stand. However, true to his name, her son is the one true gem in her life. She pampers and spoils him and dotes on him endlessly. Due to being far better off in terms of money when compared to her younger days, she can afford to give her son the best of everything. However, Indigo is not spoiled, nor a brat. In fact, he is a downright caring, sweet individual. He is considerate and is truly his mother's son. Yet, due to his sheltered upbringing, he is rather a mama's boy and often cries for his mother to protect him and hates being separated from her. Though he is shy around girls, he is very gentlemen like to Cocoa Puff.
Cocoa Puff: The daughter of Pinkie Pie and a pony named Rave Reviews. Just as her mother, Cocoa Puff is bright and bubbly but not as excitable. She gains some of her level head and calm nature from her father. Both parent's traits balance her out. One of Cocoa Puff's chief traits is her inquisitive personality. She is always eager to learn new things and sometimes pokes her nose into things she shouldn't. It's because of this she has decided to grow up to become an investigative journalist. It should be noted that Cocoa Puff is technically a bastard due to her parents not getting married until her sister Sunny Pie was born. But that doesn't matter to her as both of her parents have been together and in her life since she was born. She has a pet goldfish whom she has named Mr. Fishy Fish. She is often seen in the company of Applejack's son Cortland, once using his bottomless pit of a stomach as a basis for a school science project.
Cortland: The son of Applejack and her farmhand Tex. His conception came as a bit of a surprise to both his parents, and they quickly married once it was discovered Applejack was pregnant. Cortland is best identified in a hat similar to his mother's. Unlike his mother, he is not a very hard worker, and often tries to shirk his chores and duties, much rather relaxing than working. However, his mother is quick to get him into gear and often rides his rear. But it is clear she loves him. If anything, Cortland is very loyal to his family and loves them with all of his heart. One thing that is clear about Cortland is his appetite. He loves to eat and is always hungry. In fact, the promise of food is the really the only way to motivate him to do work. Though he often hangs out with Cocoa Puff, his true best friend is his border collie Scout, who possesses an appetite as large as he does. The two are often partners in crime and they are inseparable.
Well here they are. Just wanted to share and I hope people like them. Frankly I think Rarity's son's name is hit or miss, but it's really the only one I could think of. If anyone has a better name feel free to share.
Sounds like a fun idea, love the idea about discord and fluttershy with Discord being the one that gave birth

A tie between Evening and Cocoa
4500286 Ah I see. Cocoa is one of my faves of the kids, mainly because I like Pinkie Pie and I would love to see her as a mother. I know I did't pair her up with Cheese Sandwich because I wanted to do something different. The same with Twilight not pairing up with Flash Sentry or Tumber Spruce. Evening was a little hard for me as I wanted to make Twilight's child unique.
