In the season opener of Season 7 Twilight is going nuts thinking about all the bad things that could happen if starlight gose out on her own then comes to the conclusion that its not a bad thing for starlight to go out on her own which is understandable...
and then shes staying anyway. so twilight just went threw all that worrying and growth only to go two steps back.
they could have sent her to the crystal empire and with sunburst. she could have still been part of the show and visit. but no, for no real reason other then further forcing her down out thoughts she's here to stay

Thank you. I think maybe if they introduced her sooner, with a different background, then she might have been a good character. Hasbro needs to lay off the cider.

4497703 Very true. She would have been a much better character if she stayed a villain. Not everyone has to be reformed. Maybe instead of just trying to control a town, she tried something drastic such as using the town's ponies and making them take over and destroying Celestia School for Gifted Unicorns. Because in her mind that is the only way to prevent what happened to her, from happening to anyone else.
Side note 1- I think I need to go there. I just misspelled school 6 times

Side note 2- I think I just came up with an idea for a new story.
4497857 I'm not good with selling eather. then again I'm a Diamond Dog and we're all dumb. but yes she would have made a grate reoccurring villain. its better to be a character people love to hate then hate to love
