Bio:
Mario and his younger brother Luigi were raised in a village far from the Mushroom Kingdom. Even young the two had the promise of being powerful mages when they grew up. But as children, they were abducted by a vile shaman named Kamek who intended to use them for his own plans. However, with the help of a species of intelligent mounts called "Yoshi", the brothers were freed from the grasp of Kamek. The two grew particularly fond of the Yoshi species and thus combined their skills with magic and the mounts to become world-renowned mages.
Mario is the more powerful of the two brothers, though this doesn't let this fact go to his head. He is kind and caring to those around him, especially his younger brother whom he cares for and respects deeply. Having said this, Mario isn't very cautious around others and can be very trusting to those around him which can result in those with ill intentions to get the better of him. Thankfully he has his anxiety-filled brother by his side most of the time to help him realize when something's not right.
As a unit, Mario is very much magically inclined as a result of his training and starts out with amazing luck and speed as well. His skill "Fungal Support" is a nice incentive to use other Mushroom Kingdom units as well. Starting out, Mario can be a useful ally on the team. Unfortunately, Mario is weighed down by terrible growths in defense, resistance and speed, making him viable really only early game unless given multiple stat items. But high magic is useful when dealing with enemies, so giving him stat items isn't a terrible idea either.
