2 years on Fimfiction

To anyone who finds my profile, I'll have you know that within the last 2 years, I've been trying to find inspiration for a story. A story of which I would enjoy writing. My first attempt was a Doctor Whooves spin-off series, in which I find has been a complete failure. Ever since then, I've been reading other stories for inspiration and to learn from other writers. I'm not one for reading, but I believe that just because I don't read a lot, doesn't mean I can't write.
So the time finally came for me to create a new story. One of which has been in production for more than half a year. That story is 'GaLm and the Derp Crew's Adventures in Equestria'. It's original name, was 'GaLm's Adventure's in Equestria'. Not much of a drastic change, but it opened up my creative eye, and I began writing.
So far I've written two chapters, and both chapters show a very obvious difference between each-other. The first chapter was written when I had no idea what the plot was going to be, and I didn't know how to get one person from one world to the other without making no sense. There had to be a reason he was transported, and there had to be a reason why he was chosen. It was too complicated for me until I thought about 'The Derp Crew'.
Why have only one person transported? Wouldn't it make more since to do that than to only have one person up against the destruction of the universe? These were the questions I asked myself when I made the decision to change the title. Once I changed the title, ideas started to flow through my mind like equations in math. It all became so much easier. Those ideas are flowing through my mind at this very moment, but my mind needs breaks between chapters. I hope you all enjoy my breakthrough.
