"Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" nears its end: The Last Chapter and What Will Happen After It

Welcome, dear readers of "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!". If you read the latest blog entries I wrote for it, you probably know by now that it is close to its completion. I am currently still writing on the last chapter and put some extra time into it to make it really good, but it will get released tomorrow.
And with being so close to the end of the fic, I now want to talk a little about the future and what happens once it is completed:

So, what will the future bring after "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" has concluded?

Like with "Aunt Millie", as I explained here, I have a sequel for "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" in mind. Unlike with the sequel to "Aunt Millie", though, this one is not 100% guaranteed to happen. I fancy with writing one a lot, but it depends on other projects that will have priority for a while.
I have ideas for the sequel and if you are attentive while reading certain chapters of the fic, you will see that I have built up a few things for one. However, the fic does also conclude nicely and the last chapter serves as a very good end to most things in it.
So, if I should never write a sequel, you will probably miss the explanation for a certain thing I have hinted on, but the main plot regarding Flurry Heart's name and her abilities that I begun should leave you satisfied once everything is wrapped up.

One of the projects that will have priority for a while is, similar to the spiritual successor of "Aunt Millie", a fic that I have sitting around for a long time already. Except that this fic is sitting around even longer.
It is called "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity" and I started writing this fic more than three years ago, based on a prompt of the Equestria Daily WTG for "Twilight Time" way back during Season 4 and the first chapter saw its release on March 2nd 2014.
Since then, I only made very insignificant progress with this fic, for a multitude of reasons. They are too many to list here, but if you are curious, I detailed them in this blog entry.
But this is going to change now. Once I have finished "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" I will pick this fic up again and continue writing it. And this time, there will be regular updates!

Now, "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity" is not a fic about Flurry Heart. The fic is about Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle going on a journey as traveling sales ponies after getting taught in their talents by Twilight, because they realized that, once they got their marks and if they turn out to have different special talents each, they might have to split up and can't spend time together anymore the way they're used to.
Flurry Heart might make an appearance very, very late in this fic, as I want to follow the events seen in the show as closely as possible with the scenario I have in mind, while at the same time, also tell about completely new events that will happen during their journey. Overall, though, Flurry Heart will not have much significance for this fic.
However, the fic is an adventure fic and will therefore contain lots of magic, threats and other epic stuff, which is why I think it still makes for a good, spiritual successor of "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!".
I obviously can't go into the details of what I have planned..... But I imagine this fic like a more epic version of Flurry Heart's fic, with more adventure and much more locations!
A problem I'm facing with this fic is that, since I started writing it, Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle have gotten their cutie marks, so the premise of the story is not fitting to recent events anymore.
However, since the story got started at a time where they didn't have them yet and sets in shortly after their Twilight Time lessons we have seen in the show, I will not give it the Alternate Universe tag and proceed as I had originally planned. If that means they will get the marks they actually got or different ones will stay a secret.
But overall, the fic will largely and for a very long time not depend on their cutie marks and be about many different things, despite their reason for the journey, to stay together even after getting their marks.
