tldr, one group is wary of the other, the other group is suspicious of the other, and a dependent third party hates another and is actually manipulating her dependants. Then they form a plan against SmokePone that keeps them separate for the most part before Harmony or something convinces one party that using the EoH on them would be a good idea.
Sidenote, you're a somewhat decent motivator into writing. So there's that.
