Though to be fair Fallout and Mad Max are set in the desert because well last time I checked West America and Australia have lots of deserts. Of course seeing blizzard cowered California and rest of the western states.

Still fun poke at badly implemented cliches but remember! Tropes themselves are not bad, it's how you use them.
