    Wooow....

I had just finished a new erotica and was about to publish it on Furaffinity, and all of a sudden it has "temporarily gone offline".

    :ajbemused:

This isn't the first time this happened, and I can't help but feel it to be coincidental whenever I post something new.

    Talk about rotteen luck.

    Rest In Peace

Mom took Buffy back to the vet today around 10 am...

I never went with her, and I'm conflicted whether I should be glad I didn't or I should have gone with...

    I Did A Half-Stupid Mistake

I ended up deleting one of my bookshelves because Sonbon Sensei's top story, who haven't been on for over a year and whose not gotten any updates, kept popping up in my Library as Unread Chapters. I don't know how that's possible because I read all the chapters. I think the story is bugged or something. I ended up reporting the issue to the admins, but I think that deleting the affected bookshelf

Goodbye, Internet Privacy. Rest in Peace... · 6:31am Apr 5th, 2017

I... I have no words to say how absolutely speechless I am with this. :facehoof::facehoof::facehoof:

I want you all to read the whole thing FULLY, top to bottom. And don't skip over anything.

Afterwards, ask yourself this question:

"Is it still safe to post any stories or more chapters, or do anything at all, now that everyone will know what site we're on as well as who we really are?"

At this point, I don't even know anymore, and I'm starting to think that the United States of America will soon be called the "United States of Trump". :ajbemused:

He needs to fucking go! :flutterrage:

Hillary would have been worse. China and Russia would look at what she would have done and drooled and wished they had the spine to do as she did.

So I'm going to preface this by saying that I am not glad this happened, and it is definitely a bad thing. HOWEVER:

This isn't removing anything we had. This is roling back additional privacy rules that had not come into effect yet. So it's not the sky is falling story a lot of people make it out to be. This is just putting it back to how it was.

I mean, it's unfortunate we couldn't keep those improvements, but it's not the end of the world...

Hillary may have done some questionable things, but I am absolutely 110% certain that she wouldn't do something as shitty as this.

So you're saying that letting the ISPs use your browsing history on what you search for, what you like or dislike, or some other things to make a good profile of you and sell to the highest bidder a good thing???

Not only that, they would put unwanted software on our devices depending on where we are, such as shopping, going to the movies, etc., WITHOUT OUR CONSENT?????

4484358 you are aware that she had close ties to Russia, and my personal favorite, Saudi Arabia, who likes to throw LGBT folks off the roof of buildings, right? Her judgement is rather suspect.

Additionally, the biggest part of the regulation set you don't hear talked about is that google and Facebook, who collect the vast, vast majority of data on people to sell, were exempted.

So it was going to/was getting collected and sold anyhow. Welcome to political puppet theatre.

4484360

No. You didn't even read what I said.

I am AGREEING that it's a bad thing. But it's not changing anything. It's just preventing new regulation from coming into effect.

It's definitely a bad thing. I'm a huge privacy proponet, and I with they had not done it. But I hate the amount of miss understanding there is regarding what this means.

4484366

While I'm glad you agree, there is one thing you overlooked. He didn't just stop new regulations; he basically tore down the whole wall that was held up by old/current regulations.

Simply put, everything that was used to keep ourselves private is GONE.

We are completely exposed to pretty much everything dangerous in the cyberworld.

4484365

Lies and fabrications woven by a paranoid bully currently sitting in the White House just to keep the heat off of him. Unless there is definitive and unblemished evidence that she had ties with Russia and/or Saudi Arabia, your counter-argument is moot.

And this problem has NOT gone on for 2 years either. Wherever you heard of such trash is clearly not getting their facts straight.

Lastly, Hillary would have been the lesser of two evils. Plus, she had 10+ years of political experience whereas Trump had none. He should have just stick with working in real estate.

And again, liberals have nothing to do with our current topic, and calling us such means you're being a troll. As of now, you have 2 paths: 1st path is either you just keep quiet, listen and possibly help us take back what was rightfully ours, or continue on the other path you're currently taking and be an imbecile, because soon no one will give any attention to you.

I did hear that some rich people were planning to buy congress member's internet history and release it to the public if this passed, sooo...

But yeah, the Trump Coup is a serious problem.

Well fuck. Really I can't even express this how mad this shit stain just made me

He gotta go. I don't care how but he gotta go.

Here's a kicker: turns out the Congress that passed this are almost all Republicans, so it wasn't even a fair vote.
