Ok, this is finally done... Well, all but Trail Cutters cutie mark. That said though, we can share the important stuff now that its done. There was a bit of a hint in the new name and icon on my account here, but here's the final work.
Javarod
Originally envisioned in Lopoditty's Pandoraverse as an employee of Cuppa Joe's, he was imagined as a small hyperactive pegasus pony. After a while, he grew on me, and developed his own backstory, and he just didn't feel like a pegasus to me. So, now he's a thestral, and owns a small night hours only donut shop in Canterlot. The artist for this wonderful piece is Basil Kai, who deserves tons of praise and commissions.
Grape Sucker
Originally thrown together as a few ideas/things I wanted, she was a mare because I didn't have any mare characters, she was a thestral because I didn't have any thestrals, her name came from an old character of mine on Tapestries muck, and •deep breath•• she existed mostly for clop reasons. When I decided Javarod should be a thestral, I decided she should get a re-do too, and become a real life character... or something like that. Someone more fully flushed out. So, she became a pegasus, got moved to Las Pegasus where she runs a small wine café, a place where one can get a sample of the real good life, not the cheap glammer of Las Pegasus. She's drawn by Phoenix Peregrine, and while I do think her cutie mark is a bit crooked, its still quite a nice piece.
