Hi all! Once again, this little 'holiday' has slipped my memory. I thought maybe I'd try to write a short fic real fast for the occasion, but then I remembered that I already have a long-since-completed fic that fits the holiday mood and is long overdue for publishing! Look out sometime around this afternoon for that. I hope it doesn't get terribly overlooked in the flurry of Fools Day fics.
In the spirit of forgetting about things, I also forgot about this horse con! I thought it was in mid April (or maybe there's another one then), but lucky for me, I'm close by so I'll be swinging by there today.
In other news... I'm uh... taking a 'sabbatical' from my regular job of mechanic-ing. Probably semi-permanently. Long story short, working with my dad is grating and a man can only take so much. At the moment, as luck would have it, I'm remodeling my late grandfather's dump of a house. So we can sell it and pay off the stupid reverse mortgage. You know those commercials that try to explain to old people that reverse mortgages are good for them? Well they're right. They're good for the old people. Once they kick the bucket, their heirs have to deal with the shit part of it.
Not that I'm really complaining, I have a job to do and I'm gonna make some moolah out of it. Doing the bathroom atm. I'd post pics but dropbox is a piece of shit now. Also I'm living in this dump in the middle of nowhere with shiternet, on my potato laptop.
