Pfft. It makes sense, actually. Most of the Vice Principals I know or have heard of do a lot of administrative work while the actual Principal is more like a figurehead. It varies from school system to school system, but that's what I've heard.
Now what/who she does on her vaca...well, that's a fic by itself.
